TIRANA, Dec.12- BoA auctioned 3.7 billion leks ($44.56 million/30.61 million euro) in three-month Treasury bills on Tuesday. The T-bills, which the central bank offers on behalf of the Finance Ministry, mature on March 13. Albania’s three-month T-bills produced a weighted average yield of 6.23% at the last auction held, up from 6.03% achieved in the previous auction on November 27. The Bank of Albania auctions lek-denominated three-month T-bills weekly, usually on Tuesdays, and six-month and 12-month T-bills twice a month, also on Tuesdays. BoA has auctioned T-bills worth 354.93 billion leks in par value since the beginning of the year. Last year it sold 460.13 billion leks worth of T-bills, compared to 465.2 billion leks in 2005.
