TIRANA, Feb.18 -Government measures against informality in the grain market, undertaken after the price of bread skyrocketed to 100-120 lek per kilogram, have resulted in lower bread prices according to reports in the daily Standard. Bread prices in Albania have returned to normal levels of 60-80 lek per kg. However, the daily Korrieri, citing Bread Producers Association head Peshkepia, says that bread prices will return to 100 lek per kg because of the increased cost of production.
