TIRANA, Dec. 10 – The British Embassy offered Monday a number of full scholarships to enable Albanians to study for and gain a Masters degree at the most prestigious British universities in academic year 2008/9. Subject areas are accountancy, European Integration Studies, Management, Business Administration, Finance, Media/Journalism, Communications, Human Rights, Migration Studies, Defense Studies, International Relations, Politics/Pol. Science, Development Studies, Law, Public Administration, Economics, Law Enforcement/Policing.
The Scholarships are open to all candidates who meet the criteria in an open and transparent selective process, said a statement.
The deadline for applications is Friday 14 December.
Candidates must have a university degree and proven academic skills; excellent written and spoken English (IELTS 6.5 or above); be established in their career in a relevant area; be committed to return to Albania, and help the country’s development.
