TIRANA, Feb.11-Njazi Alliu, 50 years old and father of 2 children, died on Saturday in the Bulqiza mine, bringing the number of employee victims to die at this site to eight in the last 13 months. He is the brother of Besnik Alliu, who also died at the same mine eight months ago. Reacting on behalf of the SP, Gramoz Ruci, head of the General Assembly of the party declared that the state carries responsibility for the deaths and that Minister of Economy Genc Ruli should resign. “The company is not being held responsible for the investment of $ 25 million that would improve the situation on the site in terms of safety standards,” Ruci said.
