TIRANA, Oct. 2 – Erhard Busek, coordinator of the European Union Stability Pact for Southeastern Europe, met with top Albanian officials to coordinate efforts for the December 3-4 meeting.
Prime Minister Sali Berisha thanked Busek for the aid of the pact.
“The Stability pact has served as a linking bridge of the regional countries with the European Union,” said Berisha.
The Stability Pact was founded in 1999 by the EU and 40 other parties to increase investment and boost democratic reforms in southeastern Europe.
Members of the pact include Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia, Moldova, Romania and Serbia-Montenegro.
