TIRANA, Feb. 5 – Albanian fiscal authorities threatened to set heavy fines on all those business companies that did not declare openly their accounts.
The Finance Ministry has started to apply a rule that sets heavy fines on those businesses who present false documentation and results of their turnout. If they do not present their taxation statement in time they will have to pay a fine of 10,000 leks per month.
If they lie in their documentation they will have to pay double the required amount of money they had normally to pay.
Business is also obliged to make all the payments through banks, or they have to pay the value-added tax on that amount.
