TIRANA, June 30 – The Chinese martial arts and their famous Shaolin Kung Fu will be performed in Tirana by a cultural group of China’s Henan Province. The concert, scheduled for July 4 at Tirana’s Opera House will also entertain the public with traditional Chinese songs and dances.

Also gaining popularity in Albania where several training courses are offered, Shaolin Kung Fu is considered one of the greatest forms of martial arts and boasts a variety of techniques and philosophies that increase the spiritual growth in both young children and adults.

The Albanian public will enjoy some of the best bare hand and weapon techniques in the concert organized by the Chinese embassy in Tirana.

Shaolin Kung Fu dates back to 1,500 years ago in the Shaolin Temples of the Henan Province and is one of China’s prides.

Shaolin Kung Fu combines the Buddhist Zen meditation with martial arts and is known for its rapid, quick and forceful movements.
