TIRANA, Feb 11 – The Interior Ministry reported Wednesday they had completed and cleaned the civil register, thus giving a green light to the main infrastructure of the general elections on June 28.
The process of creating the online register was assisted by the Austrian Interior Ministry.
They said they had cleaned some 51,000 names that were found in two places, thus considering it clean of duplications.
According to this register the population number is 4,249,942 and that of the voters 3,133,248.
