‘Colors’ at FAP Gallery

TIRANA, June 12 – Azem Kucana, a student attending Master’s studies at the Academy of Arts in Tirana has opened his Colors exhibition at the Fap gallery.
“In my viewpoint, the painting makes feelings, perceptions and everybody’s experience visible. In front of the white canvas I seek the absent mark, colour and line. The traces in my paintings attract one another. While looking for graphic marks and relationships, they provoke forms, set up under opposite relationships,” says the painter
“In these years of experience, the colour in my works has always been a key and determinant element. Built or defined by the line it migrates as a reflection of the spiritual relationship with the surrounding reality, flowers, trees, roots, mountains, people and cities. In my paintings these two elements, the colour and the style will be the biggest visual duty and passion,” adds the painter.
The exhibition will open at the FAP gallery of the Academy of Arts until June 17.
