Concert to mark Poland’s 97th independence anniversary

TIRANA, Nov. 5 – Poland will be marking its 97th independence anniversary with a concert of Polish and Albanian classical music.

The concert organized by the Polish embassy in Tirana in cooperation with the Albanian Chopin Society and the Association of Albanian-Polish Friendship will feature eight Albanian musicians performing pieces by Polish composers Chopin, Moniuszko, Szymanowski, Wieniawski and Albania’s Paparisto, Peà§i, Mula and Gaci.

Pianists Anita Tartari, Rudina Ciko, soprano Erinda Agolli are some of the performers in the concert scheduled for Nov. 10 at the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet.
