TIRANA, March 5 – Nine contemporary Albanian artists have come together in a collective exhibition at the Zeta art gallery in Tirana exploring in pictures and video art issues they face in “A day like any other.”

The trafficking of women and their efforts to dominate in the gender-biased world are some of the issues the female artists explore in this exhibition.

Featured artists include Alketa Ramaj, Anila Shapalaku, Eros Dibra, Ervin Bërxolli, Blerina Muça, Ledia Kostandini, Isabelle Tausch, Matilda Odobashi and Yllka Gjollesha.

The “A Day like the other” exhibition will remain open at the Zeta gallery until March 17.

Since 2007, when Zeta was launched with a personal exhibition by Edi Hila, it has become among the few private galleries with a tight agenda of events focusing on visual arts and young contemporary artists, providing huge contribution to their support and promotion.
