TIRANA, Feb. 25 – Greece has announced it will invest 30 million Euros to rebuild the 40.5 kilometer long Sarande-Konispol road segment.
The money will not only be spent for the actual work, but also for its supervision, land purchases and money will be set aside for unforeseen future road work. The total amount of the road project is 49.14 million Euros, with the remaining 19 million Euros funded by the Albanian government.
The construction work will be performed by the Greek company Aegek. Sh.a. while the supervision of the work is overseen by Egnatia Odos sh.a.
