Cotonella opens plant in Albania

SHKODRA, Nov 9 – The Lombard, Italy-based textile company Cotonella opened a nine thousand square meter factory in the northern Albanian city of Shkodra last week.
Cotonella has been in Albania operating a manufacturing plant with 350 employees.
The investment was four million Euros for the past 12 years.
In opening ceremonies, Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha and Italian Ambassador Saba D’Elia both stressed the excellent bilateral relations between their countries. The Italian company is a leader in the production of underwear and corsetry, with an annual turnover of 35 million Euros.
