Delijorgji’s bank accounts to be frozen

TIRANA, March 31 – Bank accounts belonging to Mihal Delijorgji, owner of Alba Demil company which was hired to dispose of ammunition at Gerdec, were frozen following a request from the prosecutor.
Delijorgji, 42, was arrested following the explosion in Gerdec March 15 when at least 25 people died and more than 300 were injured.
Investigators report Delijorgji has 16 bank accounts. He was a businessman in construction iron import and other businesses besides disposing of ammunition.
His manager, Dritan Minxolli, 30, and the head of Meico, the Defense Ministry’s export-import company, have also been arrested and accused of negligence. (Tirana Times Staff)
