TIRANA, April 4 – Doctor Suster (Shoemaker) a drama by renowned Serbian playwright Dusan Kovacevic is being successfully staged at the National Theatre in Tirana. Starring renowned Robert Ndrenika, Artan Imami and Olta Gixhari, the play is directed by Spiro Duni.
The play is about the fate of two characters, brother and sister, who in the transition years in Serbia were unable to exert their doctor and pianist professions. The play, which has been well received, will also be staged this weekend on April 6, 7, and 8 at 19.00 at the National Theatre, Tirana.
Dusan Kovacevic is a Serbian playwright and director best known for his theater plays and movie scripts. His comedies have been translated into 17 languages, but his work didn’t become available in English until the mid-1990s.
