Drugs stopped crossing into Greece, traffickers arrested in Tirana

GJIROKASTRA, Feb. 20 – A police operation codenamed Mountainous Hunting arrested three teenager after finding 30 kilograms of cannabis sativa they intended to take to neighboring Greece.
The drugs were packed into two bags. Police added they were investigating for collaborators of the teenagers, also across the Greek border.
In capital Tirana police arrested two persons for drug trafficking. They were both arrested while selling drugs at a main street in Tirana.
Also in Tirana in a separate operation police arrested two other persons for drug trafficking as well.
Following a month of investigation they were arrested at the main boulevard downtown capital Tirana with methadone and also some ammunition.
