Durres to host chamber music festival

chamberTIRANA, July 2 – The newly restored archeological museum of Durres will host the tenth edition of international chamber music festival in Albania. Musicians from Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, the United States and Albania will be performing in piano, violin, cello in the one-week festival scheduled to be held from July 4 to 12.

After a five-year reconstruction saga, the landmark Durres archeological museum which houses around 3,200 items dating back from prehistory to the Middle Ages, finally reopened to the public last March.
