TIRANA, Nov. 23 – Europe’s single currency hit a six-year low against Albania’s national currency this week, further affecting the country’s exports, already on a downward trend due to a slump in international commodity prices. The euro dropped to as low as 135.81 lek this week, down 1.3 percent compared to last September when it slightly strengthened against lek following the end of the tourist season. Europe’s single currency also recently hit a 20-month low against the U.S. dollar this week when it slumped to $1.0518, and is now in touching distance of the 12-year low it hit in March…
