In collaboration with the Chinese Embassy in Albania, Albanian magazine Europa has recently published a special edition on China which includes nine articles that inform the readers about the current state of China’s economic and social development, the progress of Konfuci Institute at the University of Tirana, the branch of Chinese company Huawei in Albania, etc.
Among the articles included are: China’s new economy state, The development of clean energy, E-business, Asian Bank of Infrastructure investments, Traditional Chinese Culture, Tourism of Chinese nationals abroad, etc.
The special edition on China also features an article by the Chinese Ambassador in Albania, Jiang Yu that features a presentation of the Two Centennials’ objective, the strategy of Four Inclusiveness, and the initiatives of One Generation and One Street and the cooperation between China and Central and Eastern Europe.
Speaking of Sino-Albanian relations, Ambassador Jiang Yu noted that even though there is a huge distance between Albania and China, both countries have a long and traditional friendship. According to the Chinese Embassy in Albania, during the recent years, both countries have developed a stable bilateral relationship; the mutual political trust has strengthened, while the bilateral cooperation in trade and economics has further enhanced. China wants to make efforts together with various Albanian districts, to strengthen the traditional friendship even further, deepen the mutual political trust, and expand the countries’ cooperation by continuously building bilateral Sino-Albanian relations on a higher level.
Europa magazine is published bi-monthly by the Albanian Institute for International Studies (AIIS) jointly with House of Europe. The special issue on China is the first issue of Europa magazine for 2016.
