TIRANA, July 5 – Petrit Zaimi, 40, shot to death his father in law, his son and also seriously injured his mother in law. He then committed suicide.
All that happened after the divorce with his wife.
Zaimi was invited to his father-in-law’s home for lunch reportedly to calm things down. He had gone prepared to react violently as he had taken a pistol with him. He then shot dead Azbi Gjoni and shot also Nadire Gjoni, 79 and 65 respectively.
Tragically, he also shot dead his 16-year old son, Klevis Zaimi, who was likely trying to stop him in the act.
He then left and was found dead having shot himself.
