TIRANA, Jan 21 – A man and his son were sentenced to 15 and 16 years imprisonment for exploiting a woman for prostitution.
Astrit Pata was sentenced to 15 years in prison and fined 6 million leks while his son Nelgert Pata will spend 16 years in prison and pay a 7 million lek fine.
The men were convicted of taking a woman to Greece in 2004 after proposing marriage. Later the woman was taken to Norway with false documents to serve as a prostitute.
