TIRANA, Aug. 20 – Scores of fires have begun in the central Elbasan district, helped by yet another heat wave, though not as severs as at the end of July.
Emergency authorities have hired an Italian Canadair CL 415 plane to help them extinguish fires in the last week.
The fire fighting plane has made 23 trips in different areas in the country.
