TIRANA, Jan 20 – A fishing boat with 3 fishermen has been reported lost in the northern waters of the Adriatic Sea.
The spouse of one of the fishermen, Romeo Purizo, 43, had gone to the police in the southwestern port city of Vlora to tell them the fishing boat had gone out to fish on Sunday and was not yet back, but they believed it was being pushed towards Montenegro waters.
Police managed to speak on cell phone with the fisherman but he could not give the exact location they had floated to.
Military ships and helicopters have begun searching for the fishermen.
