TIRANA, April 4 – A full-version of the Albanian dictionary has been made available online. The dictionary containing some 48,000 entries based on a 2006 edition by the Academy of Sciences is brought into a DVD version with pronunciations and an online silent version.
Ardian Marashi, the director of the Centre for Albanology Studies admits the online version is a delayed step, noting that it serves as a good basis to consult the official version of standard Albanian. The dictionary can be accessed online at fjalori.shkenca.org.
