TIRANA, Nov. 1 – More than 100 Albanian artists will perform in Switzerland’s Geneva Arena in a gala concert on the country’s centenary of independence on Sunday, Nov.4. The concert which brings together Albania’s best artists at home and living in the Diaspora will offer the Swiss public and the Albanian community there the best of ancient and modern music. Internationally renowned soprano Ermonela Jaho is also performing in the gala event. The orchestra of the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet will be conducted by maestro Zhani Ciko. The Ensemble of Folk Dances and Songs will also be performing at the concert on Sunday at 20.00.
