TIRANA, March 26ؔhe Albanian Government has made new changes to the law regulating gambling tariffs and license’s length. According to the new amendments, licenses for gambling businesses will only be 1 year long, but can be renewed every year. With the existing law, a gambling license was given for up to 10 years. Tariffs too will change. Casinos in tourist areas will cost 300 Mlb ALL (2.3 Mln EUR) and in Tirana the price to pay will be 1 billion ALL (7.7 Mln EUR). For all other smaller gambling activities, the 1 year license will cost 2 Mln ALL (15.400 EUR), double the price stated in the existing law.
