TIRANA, April 3 – German pianist Thomas Hoppe and conductor Oliver Leo Schmidt will perform in Tirana this weekend in two separate concerts at the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet and the University of Arts.
The first concert will be given at the University of Arts on April 5, at 19.00 when German conductor Oliver Leo Schmidt and Albania-born Germany-based violinist Alban Pengili will perform in a joint concert accompanied by the symphonic orchestra of the public broadcaster RTSH parts by Joan Jean Sibelius, Camille Saint, and Johannes Brahms.
Another grand concert scheduled for Saturday April 6, at 19.00 is that of German pianist Thomas Hoppe and Albanian violinist Ermir Abeshi. The concert includes parts from Brahms, Schubert, Oistrakh, Ravel.
