Greek PM to visit Albania this month

TIRANA, April 8 – Greek Prime Minister Kostas Karamanlis will visit Albania within the month of April, local newspapers quote a statement from the Greek capital.
No more details were learnt. Karamanlis has pledged to visit the country since the start of his term in government four years ago. Prime Minister Sali Berisha has made an official visit to Athens.
The visit will likely serve to sign some agreements between the two countries and also serve further strengthen bilateral ties.
Greece is also head of the OSCE in the rotating presidency.
Greece is Albania’s second trading partner after Italy. Almost one million Albanian live and work as immigrants in the southern neighbor.
