FUSHE KRUJA, July 21 – A guard was killed and another seriously injured after a blast at a place producing construction material in this northern town.
An explosion Monday evening to bring out stones that are then used to produce lime was allegedly not set well, throwing stones all around, some of which hit the two guards. One named Zef Simoni, 45, was dead while the other, Pal Gjini, 55, was injured.
The owner of the company and an employee were later arrested by police.
