Human traffickers arrested

FIERI, Feb. 12 – Police in the southern city of Fieri arrested three persons suspected of organizing human trafficking to neighboring Greece.
Ilir Myrtaj, 28, Alfred Lam襬 37, and Qani Diko, 37, were arrested following an investigation lasting many months.
They are accused of helping people illegally cross the Greek border for a payment of 1000-1,500 Euros each. The same day as the arrest police detained a group of 15 persons who had paid for help in crossing the border.
