TIRANA, May 16 – The Interior Ministry on Wednesday introduced three projects to fight human trafficking, compiled in collaboration with the Austrian government and funded by the Austrian Agency of Cooperation and Development.
The three projects, costing 863,000 Euros, will be implemented by the international organizations OSCE, UNICEF and Terres des Hommes.
One of the projects will cover dealing with the trafficking victims. The other will cover protecting the rights of the traffic targets or those girls and women whoa are targeted to be trafficked, especially by including them in employment projects. The third will cover a more general plan on creating security in those areas that are considered as trafficking locations.
