TIRANA, March 5- The privatization of the state-owned insurance company INSIG has been postponed to the end of this year. The decision was taken by the parliamentary Commission of Economy approving a proposal from the government. This is the second time that the process is postponed. The sale process has started in 2003 but very little interest has been shown to the company which is the main cause why it has not been sold yet. The Council of Ministers approved the formula of the sale according to which 61 percent of the shares will be privatized while the rest belongs equally to IFC and EBRD.
