TIRANA, March 9 – Interior ministers of the Southeaster European countries held their 6th ministerial conference on border security cooperation in Belgrade last week, attended by interior ministers from six Southeast Europe countries and three EU countries– Italy, Slovenia and the Czech Republic.
Participants pledged the most fierce and most complex fight against organized crime in the area convinced that battle would be useless if the neighboring countries were not fully committed in that fight.
Interior ministers of Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia also signed a ministerial declaration, bilateral agreements and an annual plan for 2009.
