To avoid market distortions from the increased supply of emigrants, which is a seasonal factor, the BoA was also present in the foreign exchange market by selling around 3.29 billion lek to the banking sector. Sales and purchases have continued with the Ministry of Finance and other international institutions, such as the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and the International Agency for Development (IDA). The foreign exchange sales are conditioned by the foreign debt payments of the government and total 867.10 million lek. The volume of purchases is 1,576.78 million lek.
