Istanbul top policeman meets with Albanian counterpart

TIRANA, May 21 – Celalettin Cerrah, the top Turkish police official in Istanbul, visited Tirana this week to talk with local police officials about further strengthening cooperation in the fight against organized crime. Cerrah met with Albanian police official Ahmet Prenci and discussed establishing an online connection between the two capitals. Turkish police have trained 85 Albanian policemen since 1992.(Tirana Times Staff)
