TIRANA, August 3 – New Tirana Mayor Lulzim Basha has asked representatives of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to work on the new Tirana urban development plan.
During a meeting on Wednesday, Basha asked JICA which has been working on the design of sewerage collectors in Tirana, to commit in working on the detailed urban development plan for Tirana.
“It is important that the drafting of the detailed urban development plan for the city starts without delays,” said Basha.
He asked JICA representatives to keep in mind two main principles, the fair assessment of private property and the extension of public spaces for parks, gardens, schools, kindergartens and cultural institutions.
