TIRANA, March 11 – Kreshnik Spahiu, vice head of the High Council of Justice, held a meeting in Italy with his counterparts of the judiciary system there.
The justice officials discussed the Italian experience, especially through twinning systems.
In the process of applying European legal standards, the Albanian Parliament approved a reform of the judiciary last February which incorporates some proposals in the framework of the twinning project, in particular on themes of access to the judiciary, career judges, transfers, applications, disciplinary procedure, the structure and powers of the Council.
