KFOR commander discusses increased security

TIRANA, March 17 – Defense Minister Gazmend Oketa met with visiting KFOR commander Lt. Gen. Giuseppe Emilio Gay to discuss joint efforts to better preserve the joint border between Albania and Kosovo.
Oketa praised KFOR’s contribution to the growth of security and further development of Kosovo, in cooperation with authorities and population of the country and the presence of the European Union, UN and other international institutions.
Oketa said that Kosovo’s future, as that of the entire region, was integration into Euro-Atlantic structures.
