TIRANA, Jan 22 – Head of the Kosovar Social Democratic party Agim Ceku, also former prime minister, held a visit to Albania to meet with all local top politicians and officials.
In all the meetings Ceku discussed on Kosova’s developments following its independence and also further strengthening ties and collaboration with Albania.
Interlocutors shared the same opinion that Kosova was at a historical stage and faced crucial challenges asking for the commitment and contribution of all factors.
Greater efforts are needed on its international recognition, for the successful accomplishment of the transition period and its safe progress towards the consolidation of democratic state, economic development and European integration.
Albanian officials assured Ceku of their country’s full support through a continuous commitment of the Albanian government and diplomacy, of all the diplomatic infrastructure in Albania, in function of the consolidation of the new Kosova state in the international arena.
