PESHKOPI, Feb. 10 – Hashim Reci, 60, was killed Sunday following a quarrel with two brothers regarding the ownership of a piece of land.
Police report the two brothers went home, took a rifle and returned to kill Reci after they had failed to resolve the dispute.
One of the brothers, 70-years old, was later handed over to police and charged with murder.
Two days earlier in Malesi e Madhe district, a dispute over property resulted in a man stabbing to death a close relative.
