TIRANA, July 31 – On her sixth death anniversary Albanian actress Violeta Manusho has been honoured with a statue in the Tushemisht tourist village in the southeastern district Pogradec where she performed her most popular comic role in a 1977 movie. The bronze statue, created by Sadik Spahija and Vasillaq Kolevica, has been placed in the centre of Tushemisht village where the famous “Zonja nga Qyteti” (Lady from town) movie was shot. Born in Kor衬 Manushi has performed in more than 100 movie and theatre roles. She died in 2007 at the age of 81.
