Latvia proposes to invite Croatia, Albania and Macedonia to NATO

TIRANA, Oct. 24 – Latvian officials believe Croatia, Albania and Macedonia are to be invited to join NATO at the Bucharest summit in April 2008, according to the REGNUM news agency.
Such a statement was made by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Defense Edgars Rink跩鳠in Bucharest at an opening ceremony of the Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation.
According to Rink跩鳬 for the time being, the countries need to continue the successive process of the Euro-Atlantic integration by implementing the Membership Action Plan.
