‘Linguistic image of traditional painters in our territories’

TIRANA, Nov. 18 – Albania and Kosovo early 20th century painters are being featured in a joint exhibition in Prishtina representing the traditional and modern approach of art in Kosovo and Albania. The “Linguistic image of traditional painters in our territories” is showcasing 24 paintings by ten renowned Albanian painters, including Kol롉dromeno, Andrea Kushi, Zef Kolombi. Kosovo is represented with twelve painters among whom, ̮gj쭬 Berisha, Vllado Radovic, Svetozar Kamenoviq, Nustret Salihamixhiqi etc.
The exhibition at the Gallery of Kosovo’s Ministry of Culture in Prishtina will remain open from November 21 to December 18.
The exhibition acquaints the public with the beginnings, the artistic achievement and the physiognomy of each artist whose works have shaped the schools of visual arts both in Albania and Kosovo.
