TIRANA, July 4 – Luxembourg became the last country to ratify Albania’s Stabilization and Association Agreement signed with the European Commission last year.
Luxembourg’s parliament unanimously passed the agreement joining nine other European countries including Slovenia, Slovokia, Poland, Sweden, Hungary, Spain, Lithuania and Ireland.
The SAA should be first ratified by all the 27 EU member countries before Albania may continue to the status as a full EU candidate.
