More murders, suicides this week

TIRANA, April 25 – Three murders in capital Tirana and others around the country created more news this week following a relatively calm situation this month. Naim Durresi, 47, died Tuesday after he was attacked with a knife and seriously wounded by Plarent Hodaj, 33. Durresi owned a small casino in Tirana and Hodaj had not paid the money he had lost in the roulette.
Ylli Tahiri, 42, was found dead in Tirana after allegedly using a poison committing suicide. It was known that the person suffered from depression. On Saturday Ornela Merja, 34, died at a hospital after hanging herself following a family conflict.
Prek Zogzi, 46, an electrician was killed Wednesday in Shkoder, was killed by a person midday with a silenced pistol. The author left and could still be not identified. He was a father of three.
In Fier Fatjon Hazizi, 27, a father of two was killed by Edmond Sallaku, 30, with a knife after consuming a lot of alcohol.
A police officer Arjan Hado on Tuesday killed a person in Tirana after the victim was in a love affair with his sister. Artan Xheha was killed by the father of his girlfriend Vlash Marku after he had not agreed to marry that woman who was pregnant.
On Wednesday Sotir Ismaili, 49, former police officer at a prison, committed suicide.
