TIRANA, April 4 – Prosecutors have questioned residents in Gerdec and workers at the ammunition dismantling factory as part of their intensive investigation of the March 15 blast which killed at least 24 people and injured more than 300.
Seven people were questioned by police, some of them detained while at the explosion crater while collect iron scrap and selling it.
But three were questioned as witnesses to the March 15 explosion. They were said to be residents in the area.
Meanwhile, prosecutors held two sessions to question Kosta Trebicka, the Albanian businessman who had recorded the phone call with the owner of a U.S. company in charge of ammunition sale from Albania to Afghanistan.
