TIRANA, Feb 4 – Visiting Albanian Deputy Foreign Minister Edith Harxhi on Tuesday held talks with Morocco’s State Secretary for Foreign Affairs Latifa Akharbach on means to bolster bilateral cooperation links.
The two officials discussed means to reinforce political dialogue between the two countries, and give an impetus to economic exchanges, and considered possible areas for reinforcing cultural and scientific cooperation, a press release of the Foreign Minister said.
Akharbach called for boosting consultations between the two countries, especially in the context of Morocco’s access to an advanced status with the EU, and Albania’s commitment in the pre-membership process with the EU.
The Albanian official voiced hope that these visits from both countries would intensify the development of economic cooperation, especially in tourism and agriculture.
