Mustafaj participates at meeting of Southeast Europe

TiRANA, March 2 – Albanian Foreign Minister Besnik Mustafaj took part last week at a meeting of the council of ministers of the member countries of Southeast European Cooperation Process initiative held in Zagreb, Croatia. Mustafaj spoke about his country’s policy of good neighborhood relations and urged a higher role for the initiative. Albania would fulfill all the financial requirements on that restructuring process, he said. Mustafaj also spoke about the Kosova situation and its status talks. He siad Martti Ahtisaari’s document would turn into an important one not only for Kosova but for the entire region. Mustafaj repeated his country’s wish that Kosova turns into a free, independent, democratic and multiethnic country. SEECP groups Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia-Montenegro and Turkey.
