TIRANA, August 1 – Puccini’s Toska and Vivaldi’s Skanderbeg will be the premieres the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet will stage in its new season starting from next September. The new premieres come after the successful stage of two Albanian operas “Lulja e Kujtimit” the Flower of Remembrance and Skanderbeg by Albanian composer Prenk Jakova. The latter made its comeback last June, 44 four years after making its premiere in a revised version featuring American tenor Roy Stevens as Skanderbeg.
