TIRANA, Jan. 8 – The November exhibition named after a group of painters formed after the collapse of the communist regime in the early 90s is the first exhibition the National Museum of History is hosting this year. Some 27 artists including Kujtim Buza, Ledia Kostandini, Pashk P쳶athi, Sali Shijaku, Stefan Ta詬 Zef Shoshi, Ziso Kamberi, Vilson Kilica etc. are participating in the exhibition. This group formed after 1990s consists of painters of different generations who share a common interest in painting as a genre and its continuation as a traditional art form in Albania. Some of this group’s members are also present in the permanent collection of the National Gallery; precisely in the pavilions of “Socialist Realism: 1960-1986” and “Modernist Painting and Sculpture: 1989-2001”.
The exhibition will be open from January 10 to 20 at the premises of the National Museum of History in Tirana.
